DAY 0 - Morning

[Good morning, contestants!

One moment, you were receiving a mysterious envelope marked "Greetings from Islandia". The next moment, you're waking up on a beach.

Twenty-four people are scattered across the sands of a beautiful tropical beach, all somewhere in the middle of waking up. To your right, a sunrise over a gentle sea. To your left, dense, vibrant jungle.

There are two signs of civilization here! One is a shipwreck, about half of a good-sized ship emerging morosely from the waves. The other is a wooden sign at the edge of the jungle, showing simply an arrow pointing deeper into the island. Looking a bit closer, there is a narrow but well-maintained path into the jungle.

Hmm...okay, if you say so.

[Well, they've probably gotten to the ship by now, right? Checking it over.]

Wow, this wishing thing is harder than I thought it would be!

[He drops the subject as they reach the boat, and begins looking it over himself. It looks to be in pretty bad shape, but maybe if they can't fix it, they can use some of the wood to make a new boat or at least a raft? Let's see how strong the wood is, being in water for too long can make woods soft and unable to be used.

He carefully taps against the wood, but flinches at the touch. It felt a little weird... not like any wood he's touched before. So he'll stroke it this time, and let out a gasp.]

Greg.. this- this boat is made of plastic! [That's.. weird.]

Oh! It's like a toy boat!

Maybe we've all been shrunk and this is a tiny toy island!

...wouldn't it be easier to make a normal sized boat out of plastic? [Shrinking an entire island and the people on it sounds super tedious... also magic and, once again, he'd rather not deal with weird magic situations again.]

Same principle, yeah, except your pots don't break every time you drop 'em on the ground, so there's your advantage over clay.

Of course! [though he's never really done the thumbs up thing to a bikini babe but... first time for everything.]

All right, I'll talk to a few more people then! We should all be ready to go soon!

I guess that was your first mistake, after the obvious fake shipwreck.

Anyway, it looks like we're going in regardless.

That's a good question... I wonder if anyone else remembers? Do you?

I don't know who or why either, but I got one too - whatever that was, it had to have something to do with us getting here. But I don't remember anything else...
