DAY 0 - Morning

[Good morning, contestants!

One moment, you were receiving a mysterious envelope marked "Greetings from Islandia". The next moment, you're waking up on a beach.

Twenty-four people are scattered across the sands of a beautiful tropical beach, all somewhere in the middle of waking up. To your right, a sunrise over a gentle sea. To your left, dense, vibrant jungle.

There are two signs of civilization here! One is a shipwreck, about half of a good-sized ship emerging morosely from the waves. The other is a wooden sign at the edge of the jungle, showing simply an arrow pointing deeper into the island. Looking a bit closer, there is a narrow but well-maintained path into the jungle.

I don't mean that! Look at all this water!

Winter? [She comes from a desert planet.]

[Meryl's already standing right on the edge of the water, too enamored to even care that her shoes are getting wet. She bends down to touch it with her fingers, eyes lighting up in the kind of excitement you'd never expect to see on her face]

Is this a dream? All of this water, I...

.... Wooow, this is pretty amazing.

[Iori looks rather impressed, this sounds like it's going to be really fun. And it's not as harmful as the things Heartseed did to her, so she can relax a little. Besides, if she can have her wish granted, then--
