[It's been a long walk, but welcome to Lounge Two! It looks a lot like Lounge One, although the food spread isn't quite as impressive this time. Gotta motivate some hardcore survival, after all.

CONGRATULATIONS! You've made it through the first day, and it's time to relax... but not for long! Eat well, check out your new rooms, and when the sun touches the horizon, it'll be time for... the Trial of Justice!

But that detective girl is just going to tell us who to pick.

Detective girl? [Thinking for a second.] Oh, you mean that girl with the glasses on her head, right?

Uh-huh! She's a scientist detective!

But what if she's just saying she's a scientist detective... when she's really a spyentist detective?!

Huh. [That's kind of impressive..]

So she'll figure out the spies easily, then. [Good, a reliable person that Wirt can trust. With her telling them who to vote for, he doesn't have to make any big decisions like this on his own.]

Exactly! We just rely on her know-how! And I'm gonna learn how, too.

You.. want to be a detective-scientist?

Yeah! Yeah! I'll catch all the spies!

Sooo you just want to be one until you catch all the spies, then? [Not like, a permanent career in life or anything?]

Scientific investigator, actually! I'm in training!

Oh. Well... that's still impressive, I-I think. I- I mean, I'm just a normal high school student, with no talent or anything, so...

[skyentist]

It's okay if you're ordinary! You still might become something someday!

[poetryandclarinet]

N-no, no, I'm nothing special. [He waves his hands dismissively.] "Something"s are saved for people with real talent and motivation-- not for people like me. [And he's.. surprisingly okay with that.]

That's still fine. It's the ordinary people that law enforcement is supposed to take care of, anyway.

[candyrocks]

I like detective better!

[skyentist]

... is it because detective's a shorter word?

[candyrocks]

Hmm, maybe, but also because it's much cooler.

[skyentist]

... I guess? I think it really depends on the detective. [There are some cool detectives out there... and then there's Gumshoe.]

Don't forget me, man! I'm gonna help out too!

Huh? Are you a detective, too?

I'm a prosecutor! Which is just as good!

[skyentist]

Prosecutors and police detectives are partners! The detectives find all the evidence so the prosecutors can convict the bad guys!

[fullonbraced]

That's right! We could totally be one of those awesome duos that totally beats all the badguys!

[skyentist]

Like Miles Edgeworth and Dick Gumshoe! Or, um...

[The next partnership that springs to mind would be Lana and Gant or, if you go back to before she was born, von Karma and Gant but all of those people are in jail for very good reasons. And anyway...]

... although I don't think forensic investigators get paired up with prosecutors. I think you guys have to share.
