DAY 1 - Evening

[It's been a long walk, but welcome to Lounge Two! It looks a lot like Lounge One, although the food spread isn't quite as impressive this time. Gotta motivate some hardcore survival, after all.

CONGRATULATIONS! You've made it through the first day, and it's time to relax... but not for long! Eat well, check out your new rooms, and when the sun touches the horizon, it'll be time for... the Trial of Justice!

If some people wind up suspicious, that's still something more than what we're working with now.

[stuffs his hands into his pockets and frowns]

If we vote out a normal villager, then we'll be down two players while the spies will still be untouched. I think that's a pretty good reason to hold off for one round.

[exfired]

We'll be down two villagers pretty soon regardless. There's no way everyone'll abstain, even if it's just some spies picking off peeps they know are villagers with some lousy excuse.

Down two is much better than down three.

Think about it. If we shoot in the dark and hit a villager, who does that benefit? The spies, not us. Not to mention there's a chance we'd accidentally hit a detective, too. All we'll get out of it is a fake sense of accomplishment for actually making a decision.

[light shrug]

I'm not usually the type who likes to sit around and do nothing, but in this case. . .

I'm sayin' someone's gonna go down tonight either way. You saying all twentyish of us here, including the spies, won't vote for someone? Just the one vote is enough to get somebody kicked out. There's no point in abstaining since there's no way to guarantee everybody'll do it.

Aaaactually, if a majority abstains, then abstain wins.

Forget I ever opened my mouth. Okay, points to abstain.

. . . are we sure about that?

I mean. . . I guess we don't know if the votes are gonna become public or not. But if they do, then it's pretty dangerous for a spy to vote randomly if everyone else abstains.

Yeeeep. Majority wins, no matter what. Never mind all that, then. Though it might be a good idea to keep it in mind when the numbers get lower.

Either way, that's all well an' good for tonight, but what're we gonna do after?

Adapt to the situation as it evolves?

I'm sure there's a saying about adaptability out there somewhere, even if I can't think of it.
