DAY 1 - Evening

[It's been a long walk, but welcome to Lounge Two! It looks a lot like Lounge One, although the food spread isn't quite as impressive this time. Gotta motivate some hardcore survival, after all.

You got moved instantly from wherever the heck you were to this island, but sure, get hung up on the guy who probably just, I don't know, got a ride and watched us walk around a jungle all day for funsies.

Dry world, huh. Bummer. [he shrugs that off pretty easily because so far Wolfwood is at least acknowledging the whole WTF HOW DID WE EVEN GET HERE....bit..... so:] My question is, was he the one who brought us here? Or is he just the face for someone behind the scenes?

[ cutting his voice by half the volume, which mostly just puts it at a normal level, since he had been yelling a second ago. ]

He mentioned a "G-O-D". [ tastes like irreverence on his tongue, bitter ] Guessin' that's who's pulling the strings.

[doesn't catch the blasphemy because. y'know. i'm pretty sure any kh god in existence is actually just a giant floating heart. or a key. or both. but he does catch the bitter. he files it away but doesn't ask]

Same guy who's supposed to grant the "wish", right? That's what I figured too. I'm guessing whatever genie there is with those powers's got a good chance of bein' the guy responsible for the whole mass teleportation deal.

[ so this whole shtick about doing it "for the ratings"? seems a lot like a steaming pile of shit with a bow on top. and people're eating it up. where the hell did that Sadao guy even end up? ain't like any of 'em can go and check he landed where they're sayin' he did. ]

What? The way he's using it? You'd be surprised how many phonemically powered guys just want some entertainment. [he goes more serious next though because even if that's a possibility it's kind of a "no thank you" one. like. ever.] Thing is, we're stuck playing this game unless we figured out a way off this place, an' that's not gonna happen with everybody just playing along nicely for a prize.

[ he's got these dark, dark shades on but Axel might be able to feel the look Wolfwood turns on him now; interested, sharp. he actually wouldn't be too surprised, because Legato's a special kind of powerful and even more special kind of fucked up, and more than once he's wondered if the guy doesn't pop a sadism boner with all the shit he pulls. ]

You figure they'll let us off either way?

I wouldn't say "let", but there's a lot more chance of succeeding at anything with a whole group than just one or two guys. [he waves himself off right there, though] But it's not gonna happen. These kids are way too trusting, an' the wish thing? You gotta admit, it sure sounds enticing. The conditions aren't too bad, either... There's nothing to ping any of 'em as too awful. And that's just good enough for them to play along.

[honestly, axel talks a good game, but he trusts everyone in this place exactly 0%. wolfwood and just fyi i typoed wolfwoof sounds off there though so axel lifts up his hands in a "peace" gesture, even though he doesn't acknowledge he's doing it.]

Well, yeah. That's probably the reason the majority here are kids.

he makes a soft, almost derisive sound in his throat and shrugs. this guy's attitude's too familiar in all the most uncomfortable ways and he's not in the fuckin' mood for it. time to chase the tails of a previous topic. ]

Look, we don't know for sure where anybody ends up when they're sent out on their ass, so I'd recommend playing along.
