DAY 0 - Morning

[Good morning, contestants!

One moment, you were receiving a mysterious envelope marked "Greetings from Islandia". The next moment, you're waking up on a beach.

Twenty-four people are scattered across the sands of a beautiful tropical beach, all somewhere in the middle of waking up. To your right, a sunrise over a gentle sea. To your left, dense, vibrant jungle.

There are two signs of civilization here! One is a shipwreck, about half of a good-sized ship emerging morosely from the waves. The other is a wooden sign at the edge of the jungle, showing simply an arrow pointing deeper into the island. Looking a bit closer, there is a narrow but well-maintained path into the jungle.

It's a kind of man-made material that's cheaper to make than wood or metal. Buuut the other side of it is that it's kinda not what you'd wanna make a whole boat out of, if you catch my drift.

I see. [Hans himself knocks on it, then lowers his fist with a slightly confused expression.] It doesn't feel very strong.

Thaaat'd be because it isn't. S'easy to mold into shape, though! Shapes liiiike giant hollow boats.

Like...clay for pottery?

Same principle, yeah, except your pots don't break every time you drop 'em on the ground, so there's your advantage over clay.

That sounds really useful. Thanks. [He nods. Maybe he could grab a piece to take back to Arendelle with him? Would it be useful in major winter, though?]
